I am certified by the Medical Council of Thailand, and now, by 2017 I have performed over 2500 primary cases of SRS in patients of about 40 nationalities, the majority of whom originate from the United States of America and Europe.

It has always been my aim – along with that of my wonderful staff who are devoted totally to ensuring our patients’ utmost satisfaction and care – to be able to offer the very best surgical practices, with pre-operative and post-operative support of an order which is second-to-none.

Introducing “The Suporn Team”

I announced in May 2017 that it was my intention is to withdraw from full-time surgery at the end of 2018 and to only undertake primary SRS and FFS on a reducing basis during 2019 only. I have now decided to extend that period to include 2020, and possibly longer.  I have already reduced my own commitment to doing operations on a full-time basis myself, with the balance of the demand now being undertaken by fellow Suporn Team surgeons. Nevertheless, I will continue to be undertaking a number of operations myself at least into 2020.

In May 2017, I introduced the concept of the “Suporn Clinic Team” of surgeons, which is a small number of elite plastic surgeons dedicated to producing the highest standard of surgery possible, by using my own “Suporn Technique” for Sex Reassignment Surgery which I have been using since 2000. Dr Bank currently undertakes facial cosmetic surgery and body contouring procedures locally in his own clinic. However during his early tenure with me on The Suporn Team the intention is for him to focus on SRS only, before branching out in the future with us and possibly offering a wider range of surgical procedures.

Dr Bank started working with me in August 2017. Over the period of the next year or so, I shared many SRS operations with Dr Bank, during which time he took an increasing role in each operation, and in October 2018 he started undertaking SRS operations without any input from me. I am delighted with his work, as are the patients who have had their SRS operations performed by him. The technique he uses is now identical to mine in every respect, and is of the highest possible standards.
